The Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Barbados joined forces on World Polio Day to commemorate the significant milestones achieved in the ongoing battle against polio.
Together, we celebrated our collective accomplishments and, more importantly, engaged in discussions on the strategic path forward for the global eradication of this disease.
At the forefront of the initiative to envision a polio-free world through widespread child immunization, Rotary remains steadfast in its commitment. We firmly believe that the decision to vaccinate is not just a health imperative but, more importantly, a humanitarian duty. By coming together on this special day, we reaffirm our dedication to the cause and unite our efforts in the relentless pursuit of a polio-free future.
