The club held its 2nd RotaGames Corporate Team Building event on June 23rd.
The event is aimed at promoting wellness and building corporate team spirit, while at the same time raising funds for community projects in the areas of health, the environment, culture, and sports. This year, funds raised will be used to build awareness about Autism and provide support services to parents with Autistic children.
Participating companies for the games included Barbados Lights & Power Co Ltd, Cave Shepherd Group of companies, Beyond Limits, NCB Capital Markets and Carlton A1
The competitive games consisted of Cross Fit, Soft Ball, Giant Checkers, Football, Archery and Jenga. There were fun activities for the children as well. The event was open to the public at no cost. There was food and drink on sale and sweet music was provided by our DJ.
RotaGames was a success in raising awareness of health and wellness as well as fellowship and family fun. We are confident that this event will expand and we look forward to hosting RotaGames in 2024.
