For the third consecutive year, the four largest international service organizations – Kiwanis, Lions, Optimist, and Rotary – have issued a rallying call to service clubs worldwide, urging them to come together in celebration of community.
In response to this global initiative, Barbados proudly answered the call. We congregated at the serene National Botanical Gardens, united in purpose, to plant fruit trees. This symbolic act not only raises awareness about our environment but also serves as an encouragement for each resident to plant at least one tree, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.
We are thrilled to Celebrate Community alongside our fellow service organizations, demonstrating the power of collective action. Our shared commitment to making a positive impact knows no bounds when we come together. The initiative also saw enthusiastic participation from Rotaract Barbados and Rotary Rise Up, further amplifying the strength of our collaborative efforts.
